Creating Regional Programs
Because the turnkey offerings of Tandem Mobility are designed to be responsive as the micro-mobility industry evolves, we can easily introduce new vehicles to the platform, adjusting the fleet offerings over time to accommodate the changing transportation needs of the region. We can partner with any vehicle provider to seamlessly introduce new modes within the same rider application.
Bikes may travel freely between participating cities, with riders able to conveniently rent bikes - both pedal and e-bikes and any other vehicle that each community would like to introduce in the future- within our mobile application. With customizable pricing plans we can work with you to provide membership and pay-as-you-go options to best support the riders you intend to serve.
Regional programs may be set up in one of two ways:
SEPARATE SYSTEMS, WITH INTER-COMMUNITY RECIPROCITY
Each participating community in a region may be uniquely branded with separate fleets, if desired, yet the rider experience will be that of seamless connectivity between all systems.
A single rider profile within the Movatic app unlocks access to all participating shared mobility programs - whether they’re pedal bikes, e-bikes, membership-based or pay-as-you go.
If desired, we can customize the backend configurations for each individual community program in a region to allow riders from each community to start and end their rides at ANY station in the region. Bikes may float freely between the communities and be rented just like they're all part of one unified program, even though on the back end each community will oversee their own data, financials, rider revenue, etc.
It's truly the best of both worlds! Practically speaking, this functionality allows for regions to provide convenient access to multiple communities without necessitating one entity to "own" the entire regional program and to create sub-agreements with all the different communities.
SINGLE SYSTEM
Regional programs may also be set up in a more traditional manner, wherein one organization or entity is in contract with Tandem Mobility, singularly managing all branding, financial, and program data. Sub-agreements are often in place between the overseeing organization and each participating community.
